As of 2026-08-19: under today's polling (D+6.6), a proportional U.S. House would be D 234 / R 201 (actual House today: D 215 / R 220). If polls miss by the historical ±2.2 points, the range is D 227–238. Control of the House would flip at R+0.6 on the generic ballot.
